 Multiplication is one of the basic arithmetic operation of mathematics in which we get result by repeated addition. The result obtained from multiplication of one number with another is called as product. It can be denoted by the symbols "cross(x)" , "asterisk(*)" and "dot(.)". Vedic mathematics

Vedic mathematics is a collection of techniques to solve time consuming mathematical problems in a fast way. Vedic is derived from Sanskrit word " Veda " which means knowledge. It was discovered by Indian mathematician  Shri Bharati Krishna Tirthaji and was first published in 1965. It consist of 16 sutras and 14 sub-sutra . Through this sutras and sub-sutras , complex and time consuming problems were solved quickly. Vedic mathematics is gaining popularity due to its fast and accurate results.
